I am so blessed to be a part of a couple’s journey – be it their engagement session, wedding, a new-born baby….. it is just the best! If you are embarking on any of these new journeys I would absolutely love to be there to witness them along with you. We have all been so blessed with wonderful times in our lives – please enjoy.
Neil Katcher – one lucky guy!
I met Neil while he and his good friend, David Nadelberg, were shooting their T.V. series, “The Mortified Sessions” (Neil and Dave are co-creators) for the Sundance Channel. I know, typical Hollywood, blah, blah, blah…. In truth, both Neil and David could not be nicer guys who are making names for themselves in Hollywood. What I did not know was that Neil had the absolute sweetest, cutest, dare I say hot (will Neil read this?) girlfriend / fiance! All silliness aside, both Neil and Christina could not be more made for each other. The beauty of it all is that they both know it and love each other more so for it! Can it get any better than that!?
On the morning of their wedding, I caught up with Neil and Christina at the Hilton Checkers Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles where we chatted and shot some “getting ready” images prior to the wedding ceremony. The ceremony took place at the historic Oviatt Penthouse Building built in 1928 in the style of French Art Deco of the 1920’s and was built by the Los Angeles architectural firm of Walker & Eisen. The building is a time machine. It is complete in every detail and retains it’s beauty of an era past. Simply, it is stunning. And to have photographed Neil and Christina there was just a joy.
Please enjoy the images and raise a glass to Christina and Neil Katcher – two of the luckiest and sweetest people I know!
Pavan and Jacob wanted to shoot some high-impact images for their engagement session that were “out-of-the-box” and in a location not typical as they will be having a traditional Indian wedding. When we showed up to the location we were all excited to shoot and we had a complete blast – I think the images speak for themselves. What a great couple!!
